Mysuru: The K.R. Constituency BJP had conducted a drive for gathering public opinion on preparing a manifesto for ushering in ‘Navakarnataka.’
Addressing a press meet here on Monday, K.R. Constituency BJP President and Corporator B.H. Manjunath said that the drive was conducted at Rajendra Kalamandira on Sunday, in which hundreds of people from all walks of life and ages took part and came up with their suggestions on different issues.
Some of the participants gave suggestions on construction of Basava Bhavan, promotion of online education, market for Sthree Shakti products, finding a permanent solution for Excel Plant row and Kurubarahalli Survey No.4 and Alanahalli Survey No.41 land row, setting up of a Film City etc., he said.
He further said that almost all households in the Constituency have been given an envelope, in which the residents can air grievances or suggestions.
