Mysore/Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM), which is the nodal agency to conduct K-SET (Karnataka – State Eligibility Test) for appointment of Assistant Professors in First Grade Colleges, is likely to postpone the exam for the third time, as COVID-19 pandemic is spreading fast across the State.
K-SET Co-ordinator Prof. K. Rajashekar told Star of Mysore that the deadline for submission of application forms has been extended thrice and the exam date has been postponed twice, due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the exam which is rescheduled to take place later this month, is likely to be postponed again as the pandemic is spreading rapidly across the country. Pointing out that the UGC has given authority to UoM for holding the exam for 2020-21 and 2021-22, he said the exams must be held by December this year and if not, the candidates will stand to lose one chance of appearing for the test.
