Mysuru: Former University of Mysore Prasaranga Director K.T. Veerappa will be felicitated on his 90th birthday at a programme to take place at Vidyavardhaka First Grade college on Seshadri Iyer road in the city at 10.30 am tomorrow (Oct. 27).
Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal said that University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor Prof. N.K. Lokanath will release the pictorial volume. Former KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. N.S. Ramegowda, veteran Litterateur Prof. C.P. Krishnakumar (CPK) and former Kuvempu Bhasha Bharathi Chairman Prof. Pradhana Gurudatt will be present, he said.
Pointing out that K.T. Veerappa served as the Prasaranga Director for a long time, Gopal said that he has brought out an English-Kannada dictionary with help from noted writers across the State.
Bookanakere Vijayendra and Neelakantanahalli Tammannegowda were present at the press meet.
