Kadamba Rangotsava from tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Kadamba Rangavedike, Mysuru, has organised ‘Kadamba Rangotsava,’ a 3-day theatre festival at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises from Nov. 7 to 9.

Nov. 7 – 6.30 pm: The festival will be inaugurated by noted actor Shankar Ashwath. V.N. Mallikarjunaswamy, Joint Director, Department of Kannada and Culture; Dr. M.D. Sudarshan, Assistant Director, Kannada and Culture; H.S. Suresh Babu, Member, Rangasa Samaja and Rajashekhar Kadamba, President, Kadamba Rangavedike, will be present on the occasion; 7 pm: Bengaluru-based troupe Antaranga Bahiranga will stage a comedy play titled ‘Baaybadki.’

Nov. 8 – 7 pm: NES Amateur Theatre Troupe from Shivamogga will stage the play ‘Che Kav Tu Champagne.’

Nov. 9: Kadamba Rangavedike, Mysuru, will stage ‘Naa…Ni…,’ a musical play by Karanth, directed by Amit Reddy, in a unique and artistic style.
