Mysuru: “It is difficult to run a country but not an amateur theatre team,” said theatre person and Cinema Director and Producer B. Suresha. He was speaking after presenting the 2019 Rotary-Kadamba Theatre award to Rangavalli Theatre troupe at an event organised by Rotary North and Kadamba Rangavedike, at the Ideal Jawa Rotary School recently.
Appreciating the role of Rangavalli that has been very successful in bringing hundreds of hearts to performing theatre and thousands of eyes to watch them, he said that Rangavalli has created its own audience base not only in Mysuru but also in Bengaluru, Shivamogga, Davanagere and Dharwad.
Rangavalli team Founder-Member Raviprasad received the award on behalf of his team from Director Suresha.
Vedike President Rajashekara Kadamba, Secretary Subba Narasimha, Rotary North President M.K. Nanjaiah, Secretary S.H. Jagadish, Assistant Governor D. B. Rajashekhara Murthy, Rangavalli Secretary B. Rajesh, Treasurer Manjunath Shastry, Trustee Raghavendra Boodnur and others were present.
