Mysuru: Kala Vaibhava, the 7th Annual Day was celebrated by Seshadripuram Independent PU College, Mysuru recently at its Kuvempu Rangamandira.
Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy, who was the chief guest, inaugurated by the programme by lighting the lamp. Speaking on the occasion, she advised the students to cultivate 3 Ds — Dedication, Discipline and Devotion — in their life to achieve success.
She further opined that India is rich in art and culture and it is the prime duty of each and every one to take the Indian culture to greater heights.
The Annual Report was presented through a Power Point presentation by N. Archana Swamy, Principal, SIPUC. This was followed by Award Distribution Ceremony during which the following outgoing students were honoured:
Best NSS Volunteers: S. Dimple and V. Sathish; Best Library Patrons: Mayur G. Naidu and Nithya R. Chavan; Winners of ‘Individual Champion’ of Annual Sports: T.L. Sinchana and K. Kushal.
M.S. Nataraj, Honorary Assistant Secretary, Seshadripuram Group of Institutions, Bengaluru, presided. Students entertained the audience with dances, songs, mime show and drama on the theme ‘Mother.’
N.N. Anil Kumar, Trustee, Seshadripuram Educational Trust, Prof. K. Sowmya Erappa, Principal, SDC, Academic and Non-Academic staff and students were present.
