Mysore/Mysuru: The 22nd National Nirantara Kalemane Utsava was held on Apr. 29 at Kalemane Sabhaangana by Kumar Performing Arts Centre (KPAC), Mysuru. It was a wonderful evening with 5 mesmerising performances performed by 5 extremely talented teams.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. B.S. Pushpalatha, Additional Director, Health and Family Welfare Department, Bengaluru.
The guests were honoured with the title ‘Kalemane Kala Poshaka Award-2023’ in recognition of their support and service to the field of performing arts.
The awardees were P.M. Radhakrishna, Managing Director, Gurudev Academy of Fine Arts, Mandya and Mysuru, Pradeep Bhat, Writer and President, Natyanjali Nrutya Kala Kendra, Hubballi and M.V. Suma and V. Nagendra, Secretary and Treasurer, Sudhindra Nritya Kalaniketana, Bengaluru.
Students of Guru Dr. K. Kumar, Guru Dr. Chetana Radhakrishna, Guru Vidwan Gururaj Vasisth, Guru Aarathi Arun and Dr. Sahana Bhat performed stunningly.
Raghu gave support in sound and lighting. There were about 40 participants and the auditorium was full of an enthusiastic audience who made the programme a huge success.
