Kannada book-lover Syed Isak of Rajivnagar in Mysuru, whose library was destroyed in a fire in the wee hours of Apr. 9 this year, has been selected for Dr. G.P. Rajarathnam Sahitya Paricharaka Award instituted by the Kannada Book Authority, Bengaluru, for the year 2020. The Award carries a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and a citation.
