Kannada outfit seeks CBI probe

Mysore/Mysuru: Members of Karnataka Sena Pade staged a protest in front of the Old DC Office yesterday, calling for the MUDA (Mysuru Urban Development Authority) scam investigation to be handed over to the CBI.

The demonstrators criticised the ongoing political bickering between the ruling and Opposition parties over the multi-crore MUDA scam, expressing disappointment with the lack of constructive action.

The protestors highlighted that both MUDA and Valmiki Development Corporation scams have deeply affected the State’s residents and involve numerous political leaders and officials.

The protestors questioned why former MUDA Commissioner G.T. Dinesh Kumar was merely transferred instead of being suspended. They demanded an immediate CBI investigation for a thorough and impartial probe.

Sena Pade District President Tejesh Lokesh Gowda, along with members Suresh Gold, Prabhushankar, Krishnappa, Shivalingaiah, Shanthakumar Gowda, Nagaraj, Varakodu Krishnegowda, Manjula, Prajeesh, Shivakumar, Bhagyamma, Mahadev Paduvarahalli, Bogadi Siddegowda, Padma, Shantharaje Urs, Nandakumar and Narayanagowda, participated  in the protest.
