Bengaluru: Legendary cricketer B.S. Chandrasekhar unveiled the new Karbonn Smartphones Karnataka Premier League 2017 trophy at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru yesterday. KSCA President Sanjay Desai, Hon. Secretary R. Sudhakar Rao, KPL Governing Council Member Vinay Mruthyunjaya, KSCA Asst. Secretary Santosh Menon and members of the Managing Committee, Franchise owners and players were present.
The sixth edition of Karbonn Smartsphones KPL, powered by Cycle Pure Agarbathies, will commence at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium with the inaugural match between Hubli Tigers and Belagavi Panthers. A total of 24 matches will be played across three venues – Bengaluru, Mysuru and Hubbali – as the seven teams fight it out to become the champions of Karnataka.
