Mysuru lad Suraj R. Prabodh, taking part in the AITA 1 lakh Prize Money Men’s Tennis Tournament at Karnal, Haryana, won the Men’s Singles title beating Mayank Yadav 6-2,6-3 in the final, recently.
In the semi-finals, Suraj got the better of Chinmay Dev Chauhan 6-3, 6-3 and in the quarter-finals beat Himanshu Mor 6-0, 6-2 to progress further.
Incidentally, Suraj had also won the Men’s Doubles title teaming up with Ajay Kundu and beating Karan Singh and Ajay Malik 6-2, 6-4 in the final.
