Mysore/Mysuru: A Karnatak classical music concert has been organised by Gayana Sabha, Mysuru, on Dec. 2 at 6 pm at KalpaKshetra Auditorium, 581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase, Mysuru.
Vidushi Srimatha Ramanand will present the classical vocal recital accompanied by Adamya Ramanand on mridanga and Prithvi Bhaskar on violin.
A B-High graded Karnatak vocalist, VidushiSrimathaRamanand has been performing and teaching classical music for about two decades. She has the distinction of holding three Master’s degrees — M.A. (Music), M.A. (English) and M Phil (English).
She hails from a musical family, with her mother Vidu. Geetha Ramanand being a top graded Veena artiste, brother Vid. Adamya Ramanand, an A grade mridanga artiste. Srimatha is trained under Vidu. M.S. Sheela for over 30 years. She has performed for various reputed organisations and Sabhas in Karnataka and other States.
