Mysuru: Champaka Academy, Mysuru, with a mission to promote Indian culture, is conducting a two-day workshop in Karnatak music for the benefit of music-lovers and practitioners, at its premises in Ramakrishnanagar here.
Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar will conduct the workshop on Dec. 9 and will teach compositions of the famous Mysuru composer Sri Yoga Narasimham. Vid. S. Shankar will expound on the nuances of Raga Kamach with select compositions in the Raga on Dec.10.

Danseuse Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy will inaugurate the workshop on Dec.9 at 9 am. Natyacharya Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao will be the chief guest. The valedictory will be held on Dec.10 at 6 pm and will be presided over by Dr. R.N. Srilatha. There will be a performance from the workshop participants during the valedictory.
