Mysuru: Members of Karnataka Sena Pade staged a protest in front of the DC’s office here this morning opposing any move to carve a new Hunsur district.
The members alleged that former Minister A.H. Vishwanath was only coming out with unreasonable and irrational points to defend the formation of a new Hunsur district only to get a political mileage. They opined that Mysuru district is strong enough to handle Hunsur also.
They submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the DC appealing the CM not to agree for the formation of a separate Hunsur district.
Sena Pade District President Tejas Lokesh Gowda, City President P. Prajeesh and others were present.
