City’s Prasiddhi Bhat, Shivanth finish fifth
Hassan : Bhagyashree Patil of Bengaluru with 8 points from 9 rounds and Keshav Kothari with 9 points from 9 rounds won the U-13 girls and U-13 Open titles in the Karnataka State U-13 girls & Open Chess Championships held at Hassan from Apr. 21-23. Mysuru’s Prasiddhi Bhat secured the fifth place in the U-13 girls section with 6.5 points from 9 rounds, while Mysuru lad M. Shivanth secured the fifth place in the U-13 Open section with 7 points from 9 rounds.
