Mysuru’s Prasiddhi Bhat fares well
Swara Lakshmi S. Nair of Bengaluru with 7.5 points from nine rounds clinched the Girls U-15 Karnataka State Chess Championship title in the Tournament held at SB Samudaya Bhavana in Mandya from June 14 to 16.
Mysuru’s Prasiddhi Bhat with 7 points from 9 rounds secured the fifth place. Another Mysuru girl Dhatri Umesh finished seventh with 7 points. Mandya’s WCM A.N. Shefali with 7 points secured the sixth place. Anya Seth Syed (Bengaluru) 7 points and Sanjana Raghunath (Bengaluru) with 7 points secured the second and third places respectively on the basis of their better progressive tie-break scores.
