Eight players- Niranjan V. Sangam (Kalburgi), Mysuru lad K.R. Yashaskara Jois, Sirsi’s Nitish Bhat, Bengaluru’s B.M. Sujay, AFM Srinidhi Kulkarni, G. Raghavendra, Sudharshan Bhat and M.D. Chiranth shared the lead with three points from three rounds in the Karnataka State U-19 chess championship 2017 being held at Gulbarga from 8-10th July 2017.
The eight players are placed one to eight in the rankings. Mysuru lad Yashaskara Jois had won over Namish Gilda, Asaham Setiya and Owais Mohammad.
In the girls section four players- Bengaluru’s Shriya R. Revankar, Mysuru’s H.R. Manasa, Bengaluru’s Bhagyashree G. Patil and Bengaluru’s Kruti Gangadkar are tied with three points from three rounds and are placed from one to four in the rankings.
