Bengaluru: Chief Minister (CM) Siddaramaiah has disclosed that the new dates of the preliminary examinations for the 384 Probationary KAS posts will be announced shortly.
“It was decided to hold the KAS preliminary examinations on Aug. 25. But on the same day, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has also scheduled examinations for clerical posts. With the intention of facilitating candidates to appear for IBPS examinations, I have advised Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) to postpone the examinations to a later date. The KAS preliminary examinations will be held on some other day in the month of August itself as necessary preparations have already been made to hold the preliminary examinations,” said the Chief Minister in his post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter).
