Mysuru: Kautilya Vidyalaya will be holding ‘Ajjanondige Hejje-Ajjiyondige Gejje,’ a programme dedicated to the undivided family, in which grandparents participate enthusiastically in the cultural programmes along with their grand children. The event has been organised as part of its 13th Annual Day at Kalamandira tomorrow (Dec.22) at 10 am.
The programme will be inaugurated by Kuvempu University former Vice-Chancellor Dr. K. Chidananda Gowda and his wife Tarini Chidananda Gowda. Retired DG and IGP Shankar Bidari will be the guest of honour.
On the occasion, achievers in social service will be conferred ‘Sarthaka Seve’ and ‘Yashaswi Sadhakaru’ awards.
This will be followed by Kautilya Sadagara, the Annual Day celebration with the theme ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.’ The programme will be inaugurated by Dr. M.N. Ajay Nagabhushan, Commissioner for Cane Development and Director of Sugar, Government of Karnataka, at 3 pm. Kautilya Vidyalaya Chairman R. Raghu will preside over both the events.
Kautilya Ratna awardees
Like every year, Kautilya Vidyalaya will be presenting Kautilya Ratna awards to three teachers, K.M. Varuni, G.C. Shwetha and M.P. Pushpa. The award comprises Rs. 10,000 in cash and a citation.
