Kautilya Vidyalaya celebrates Samskrithika Parva 2025-26

Mysore/Mysuru: Kautilya Vidyalaya,  Mysuru, celebrated its Annual Day, Samskrithika Parva 2025-26 at KSOU Convocation Hall in city recently.

The celebration was attended by Prof. Dr. Ram Kumar Kakani, Vice-Chancellor, RV University, Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy, Industrialist and Philanthropist, Nitesh Patil, Regional Commissioner, Mysuru, Revathi Kamath, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, Ashok Kheny, former MLC, as chief guests while Dr. M.S. Prakash, MD, RV Dental College was the guest of honour.

School Chairman T. Babu presided. Neetu Babu, Director-Principal Dr. S. Jayashree Muralidhar and Vice-Principal Dr. M.K. Ramya Urs  were present at the ceremony along with teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, students and alumni.

Dr. Jayashree highlighted the school’s academic and co-curricular achievements of the year.

Dr. Jagannath Shenoy stated that Mysuru city is always known for cultural and heritage city, and the students of Kautilya proved it today. Nitesh Patil encouraged students to pursue excellence with discipline, honest, obedience and creativity.

Meritorious students were felicitated with awards for academics, sports, leadership and co-curricular achievements.

The event showcased the talents of students through a vibrant cultural presentation — Vedaghosha, Bhagavadgita recital, Western to Indian dances, folk to mythological dances, dances on women empowerment, Ekalavya-Dronacharya dance-drama, Shivaji dance, a tribute to Salumarada Thimmakka, English drama with a message “Honesty is the best policy”, Kannada drama on “Tenali Ramakrishna.”

Tiny-tots danced for various cartoon characters like Disney, Barbie, Minions, Rio, Jungle Book. The students also displayed Yoga and Martial Arts skills. Dr. Ramya Urs proposed the vote of thanks.
