Akhila Bharatha Sharana Sahitya Parishat and Mysuru City Sharana Sahitya Parishat, as part of its endowment programme, have jointly organised Kayaka Day celebration and also presentation of ‘Kayakashree awards’ to achievers on June 11 at 4.30 pm at Sri Rajendra Bhavan in JSS Hospital premises, Ramanuja Road in city. The awards will be presented to Nagarathnamma and G.V. Somashekar. Kuderu Mutt Seer Sri Gurushantha Swamiji will grace the occasion. Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) Chief Engineer Shankar Devanur will inaugurate and will speak on the topic ‘Sharanara Kayakatatva’.
