Kengal Hanumanthaiah award for S.M. Krishna

Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister S.M. Krishna has been selected for the 2018 Kengal Hanumanthaiah Samskriti Endowment Award.

At a meeting chaired by Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Manu Baligar recently, S.M. Krishna was selected for the award.

The selection committee also picked journalist H.B. Madanagowda for the 2019 Nagadikere Kittappagowda Rukmini Endowment award.

While Kengal Hanumanthaiah award carries a cash award of Rs.25,000, the other award carries a cash award of Rs.10,000, said Kannada Sahitya Parishat  Secretary V. H. Chennagowda.
