Mysuru: The Khelo India Utkrishta Kendra (KIU), Vidyanagar, Bengaluru, will be conducting selection trials for admission of talented athletes, at Sri Jayaprakash Narayan National Youth Training Centre, Vidyanagar, Bengaluru, on May 5 and 6. Athletes in the age group of 15-21 years (as on July 1, 2025), who have qualified for admission to first year PUC (2025-26) after passing SSLC in the academic year 2024-25, are
eligible to apply. There will be 2 years age relaxation for international athletes based on the recommendation of Expert Committee.
Students of Sports Schools/ Hostels/ Schemes run by the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) are eligible to attend the selection trials. For more details, visit the Department office or contact Ph: 0821-2564179, according to a press release.
