Kidnap Case: Court adjourns Revanna’s bail plea hearing to May 13

Bengaluru: The Special People’s Representatives Court adjourned the bail plea hearing of former Minister and Holenarasipur MLA H.D. Revanna to May 13.

The JD(S) leader, who was arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), has been named as the prime accused in the alleged abduction of a woman and was remanded to Police custody till May 8. The SIT produced Revanna before the Court following the completion of custody. Revanna has been  remanded to judicial custody till May 14. A kidnap case was registered against Revanna following a complaint by the woman’s son, who alleged that his mother was sexually abused by Revanna’s son and Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna. The kidnap case is linked to the allegations of sexual abuse of women by Prajwal Revanna.
