Mysuru: Marking the 112th birth anniversary of Gen. K.S. Thimayya, Kodava Samaja had organised a function at its premises in Vijayanagar here this morning.
The members of the Samaja offered floral tributes to a portrait of Gen. K.S. Thimayya.
Speaking on the occasion, Maj. Gen. (retd.) C.K. Karumbaya hailed Gen. Thimayya as a very hard-working person as an Army Chief.
Kodava Samaja President B.M. Nanaiah, Vice-President K.C. Belliappa, Hon. Secretary M.M. Ponnappa, Jt. Secretary Jyoti Kashiyappa, Treasurer M.B. Jeevan, Col. M.K. Belliappa and others were present.
