The Kodava Samaja, Mysuru, will celebrate Puthari Namme-2025 at Sree Cauvery Educational Institutions in Kuvempunagar on Dec. 4 from 7.30 pm with the performance of all traditional Kodava dances. This will be followed by Nere Kattuva ritual at 8.40 pm; Kadh Edupa (reaping of new paddy crop) at 9.40 pm, followed by distribution of thambutt prasada. As a prelude the fest, the eedu programme will be held at the Samaja premises in Vijayanagar at 6.30 pm for five days from Nov. 28 to Dec.2. according to to Ponjanda A. Ganapathy, President of the Samaja.
