The focus will be on vocal development, enunciation, rhythmic precision, mastery over rhythm and gaining a deeper understanding of musical mathematics.

About Konnakkol

Konnakkol is an ancient South Indian art form that involves orally articulating percussive syllables in association with Karnatak Classical Music.

With roots stretching back over 5,000 years, it is regarded as the world’s most intricate and aesthetically refined vocal rhythmic system — celebrated for its unmatched complexity, depth, and range. Beyond being a rhythmic language, Konnakkol serves as a gateway to understanding the mathematical intricacies of Tāla and Laya.

Practising Konnakkol enhances speech clarity, emotional balance, intellectual sharpness, peace of mind and inner vitality, impacting practitioners at physical, psychological  and spiritual levels.
