Kotharotsava Vaibhava: ‘Sangeetotsava’ begins atop Chamundi Hill

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of ‘Kotharotsava Vaibhava’ at Sri Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hill, ‘Sangeetotsava’ began at the Hill Temple premises last evening.

Vid. M.S. Anand and Vid. Puttraju presented nadaswara accompanied by Vid. Nagesh and S. Likith on thavil and Umesh on tala.

The following performances are scheduled as part of the ‘Sangeetotsava’ programme at the Hill Temple premises from 6 pm to 9 pm:

Jan. 6: Veena recital by Vidu. Revathi Kamath and troupe from Bengaluru.

Jan. 7: Devotional songs recital by Bhagyashree and troupe, Chikkamagaluru.

Jan. 8: Devotional songs by  playback singer Dr. Shamitha Malnad, Bengaluru.

Jan. 9: Harmonium recital by Vid. A.V. Vishwanath, Chintamani, Chikkaballapur.

Jan. 10: Flute recital by Vani and troupe, Mysuru.

Jan. 11: Karnatak Classical vocal recital by Vidu. Dr. Veena Ravikumar and troupe, Mysuru.

Jan. 12: Flute recital by Vid. V. Mukunda and troupe, Bengaluru.

Jan. 13: Karnatak Classical vocal recital by Vid. R. Raghu and troupe, Mysuru.

Jan. 14: Goshti Gayana by junior and senior artistes of Mysuru.
