Hubballi: The sixth match of this edition of the Karnataka Premier League 2018 (KPL) between Belagavi Panthers and Bijapur Bulls was abandoned without the toss being done due to the wet condition of the outfield last evening. The groundstaff tried their best but the outfield did not dry for the game to start.
The match officials waited up to 9 pm and after the final inspection, decided that the match was not possible and the match was abandoned.
Rain started again after the inspection and match officials decided to call it off due to the wet outfield earlier itself.
Both teams who had lost their respective opening games share a point each and get off the mark in the points table.
In today’s double header, in the first match, Hubli Tigers and Bellary Tuskers clash, while in the second one, Bengaluru Blasters take on Bijapur Bulls.
