A well compiled knock of 92 by vice-captain Goutham Sagar, helped Mysore Zone to register a 77-run win over Shimoga Zone in the KSCA U-19 Inter-Mofussil Cricket Tournament played at Bengaluru yesterday.
Batting first, Mysore Zone posted a decent total of 196 for eight in 40 overs. Goutham Sagar scored a valuable 92 and useful contribution came from R. Chethan (29). In reply, Shimoga Zone were bowled out for 119 in 33 overs. Nikshep top scored with 41 runs. Syed Zain impressed for Mysore Zone taking three for four. Tushar Harikrishna and K.B. Nandan took two wickets each.
