Confusion in B.Ed admission process
Mysuru: A war of words erupted between the officials of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) and the students over the confusion in the reservation list announced for B.Ed admissions.
The KSOU officials have deliberately created confusion in the reservation list for admission to B.Ed course thus trying to mislead the students. As a result the students who have come from distant places are put into hardship, they charged expressing their anger, here at the KSOU premises on Friday.
Out of 500 B.Ed seats for general merit category, on Friday counselling was reserved for only 247 seats. However, the KSOU officials inviting all categories of students together led to the confusion.
Another problem was regarding the information provided in the booklet where there is a lot of difference in the reservation list and the counselling being done.
The students asked the officials to set this anomaly right.
The higher officials on coming to know of the problem reached the spot and placated the students promising them to set right the things.
