Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will be facilitating special tour packages at subsidised fare for the benefit of tourists on account of Dasara celebrations this year too.
The one-day package tour will provide opportunity to visit tourist places in districts of Mandya, Mysuru, Kodagu and Chamarajanagar. Tourists will be taken to places in and around Mysuru and religious shrines from Oct. 9 to Oct. 24.
The buses will leave Mysuru Sub-urban Bus Stand at 6.30 am every day. The tour package includes Giridarshini, Jaladarshini and Devadarshini.
Giridarshini: Bandipur, Gopalaswamy Betta, Biligirirangana Betta, Nanjangud, Chamundi Hill (325 kms). Bus fare: Rs. 350 for adults and Rs. 175 for children.
Jaladarshini: Golden Temple, Dubare Forest, Nisargadhama, Abbey Falls, Raja Seat, Harangi Reservoir, KRS (350 kms). Bus fare: Rs. 400 for adults and Rs. 200 for children.
Devadarshini: Nanjangud, Talakad, Bluff, Mudukuthore, Somanathapura, Srirangapatna, KRS (250 kms). Bus fare: Rs. 275 for adults and Rs. 140 for children.
