Sir,
A few months ago, I went to the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru, for some problems with my hearing. It was the peak time of Covid but I did not want to wait any longer for this visit.
As I walked in through the gate, I was pleasantly surprised by the watchman who stood up and greeted me at the entrance. He directed me towards the parking and also explained the building location I needed to go to. It was quite easy to go to the Intake window and register myself.
There were socially distanced chairs placed in the room where we could wait for our turn. There were also plentiful chairs outside for people who were not comfortable indoors.
Once my name was called, I was escorted to different rooms for various tests. Everything was clearly explained and seamlessly organised. The professionalism and courtesy extended was that which we would see in a private hospital.
The staff at AIISH was calm, cool and considerate. I thank them for the thoroughness with which they do their jobs.
