Recently my son purchased a second hand car. We applied online through the parivahan website for the RC transfer from the previous owner. However, the payment was showing as “verification pending.” At the RTO they did accept the application and we assumed that the status would change eventually.
But even after 30 working days it did not. When we approached the RTO West staff they did their best to help us. As a last resort, they created a challan so that we could make the payment in the RTO itself.
They also reassured us that the transfer will be done at the earliest. Within a week it was done and we could collect the new RC card.
My appreciation to Latha and other staff at the RTO West Office who were not only very courteous and helpful but ensured customer satisfaction. It was one more addition to my list of pleasant experiences with RTO Mysuru West.
