Kunjangada K. Cariappa (75), retired Excise Deputy Commissioner and a resident of Kuvempunagar 3rd Stage in city, passed away here yesterday.
He leaves behind three sons, daughters-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon, according to family sources.
