Mysuru: Following Chief Minister Siddharamaiah’s directive to remove legal hurdles to solve the vexed Kurubarahalli Survey No. 4 and Alanahalli Survey No. 41 that has been erroneously classified under “B Kharab”, MLA M.K. Somashekar, DC D. Randeep, MUDA Commissioner P.S. Kantharaju and Tahsildar T. Ramesh Babu are waiting for an appointment to meet State Advocate General Madhusudhan R. Naik.
Yesterday, Siddharamaiah, at a meeting, directed officials to take steps to vacate the stay brought by the residents of the said survey numbers against the Government Order classifying the land as “B Kharab”.
The CM told them to hold a meeting with Madhusudhan Naik to take steps to vacate the stay and speed up the process. For the record, there are over 72 writ petitions in the Karnataka High Court regarding the issue.
After yesterday’s meeting, the DC, MLA, MUDA Commissioner and Tahsildar stayed in Bengaluru and sought an appointment with the Advocate General.
Speaking to Star of Mysore this morning, DC Randeep said that they were waiting for the Advocate General’s appointment. “We will explain to him the history of the layouts and will present relevant documents. We will also narrate the process initiated by the District Administration to provide relief to the residents of Siddarthanagar, Alanahalli, K.C. Nagar and Income Tax Layouts that have been formed years ago from the land that has been sanctioned by CITB,” he said.
