Mysuru: Book Clubs-2015 and author Lakshmi Palecanda have organised a book launch event on July 30 at Roopa Elite, 6th Main, Vontikoppal, at 5 pm.
Dr. Javeed Nayeem and Lalitha Rao will release the books ‘The Fifth Wedding’ and ‘Indian-American … Then Indian Again’ authored by Lakshmi Palecanda.
The author will also be in conversation with another author from Mysuru Sujata Rajpal. The books will be received by Dr. Lata Muthanna and Vinaya Prabhavathy.
Lakshmi, a scientist-turned-author, moved to Mysuru in 2009 from the United States, where she had lived for 18 years.
‘The Fifth Wedding’ is a romance straight from life in South India while ‘Indian-American … Then Indian Again’ is a compilation of articles written across a number of years and published in both Indian and Indian-American magazines.
