Land grab at Kenchenahalli: Bollywood singer Lucky Ali moves Lokayukta against IAS Officer

Bengaluru: Renowned Bollywood singer Maqsood Ali, better known as Lucky Ali, has complained to Karnataka Lokayukta against IAS Officer Rohini Sindhuri.

Ali, son of late comedian and film producer Mahmood Ali, has stated in his complaint that Sindhuri has encroached upon the land belonging to his Trust at Kenchenahalli near Yelahanka New Town in city.

Ali has named six persons in his complaint, that includes Sindhuri, her husband Sudhir Reddy, brother-in-law Madhusudhan Reddy, ACP of Yelahanka New Town Manjunath, Sub-Inspector of Yelahanka New Town Police Station and Taluk Surveyor Manohar of Yelahanka Taluk Survey Office.

He had lodged a similar complaint in the year 2022 too, besides sharing the same in a series of posts on his ‘X’ account on Thursday, alleging that the property belonging to him near Kenchenahalli in Yelahanka New Town has been encroached upon.

The family of Ali claims to be living in the farm, falling under the ambit of the Trust, for the past 50 years.

Meanwhile, Sindhuri, in a press release, had denied any wrongdoing and had also refused to comment further, stating that there is a temporary injunction against Ali and it would be sub judice.
