Mysuru – Lashkar Police, who raided KL Automotives in Gandhi Square, have registered a case against the owner of the shop for selling duplicate spare parts by affixing genuine company labels on it.
Following a complaint by one Ravindra Singh of Bengaluru, the Cops raided the automobile shop on Apr. 5 and seized various duplicate spares including oil seals, oil filters, gaskets, piston pin, piston rings, connecting rods, valve sets and bearing, which were being sold by affixing genuine labels of ‘Greaves Parts’ on the duplicate spares.
The Police have booked a case of violation of copyright on the owner. Lashkar Inspector H.M. Kantharaju has registered a case in this regard.
