Left Parties condemn attack on CPI Office at Bengaluru

Mysuru:  Strongly condemning the attack on the Communist Party of India’s (CPI) State Office at Bengaluru, Left parties including CPI, CPI(M) and SUCI staged a demonstration near the Deputy Commissioner’s Office here yesterday.

Urging the Government to arrest the culprits who attacked the CPI Office at Bengaluru and burnt two-wheelers parked there on Dec. 24 midnight, CPI General Secretary H.R. Sheshadri accused the BJP, Sangh Parivar and other Hindu outfits of being behind the attack. Alleging that the BJP Government had targeted the Left parties for supporting anti-CAA protests, he urged the Government to book the culprits behind the attack and punish them.

Recalling that a similar attack was made on the CPI Office at Bantwal a year ago, he alleged that the Police are yet to arrest the miscreants even after one year of the incident.

CPI office-bearers H.P. Ramakrishna, Basavaraj and Jayaram, SUCI office-bearers Yashodhara and Chandrashekar Meti, Swaraj India’s Ugranarasimhegowda, Abhiruchi Ganesh, Suresh, Somaraje Urs and others took part.
