Mysore/Mysuru: As the number of aspirants for Legislative Council polls from the Assembly rises, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed his challenges in allocating tickets to leaders supported by their respective followers.
He hinted that Vokkaligas and Lingayat leaders may not be nominated by the Congress party.
Speaking to a gathering of Congress workers from Chitradurga outside his residence this morning, Siddaramaiah stressed the necessity of understanding the constraints in issuing tickets.
“We must allocate tickets to SC, ST, OBC, Christian and Woman candidates,” he explained.
