Mysore/Mysuru: Prof. Mewa Singh, Distinguished Professor (for Life) and SERB Distinguished Fellow, Institution of Excellence, Vijnana Bhavan, University of Mysore, has been recognised with “Lifetime Achievement Award” by the International Primatological Society.
This Society is a large body of international scientists working in the fields of ecology, behaviour, conservation, zoo management of endangered species and biomedical research on primates.
Prof. Mewa Singh is the first Indian and the second Asian scientist to receive this distinction. He has been invited to deliver the award-lecture at the International Primatological Society conference at Kuching, Malaysia in August 2023.
