Sir,
Yesterday morning as I was taking my vehicle inside the old Law Courts Complex compound, I could see a young disabled man struggling to cross the road (because of peak hour traffic) near the Circle to go to the other side of the road into the Court. But I was very happy to see the Traffic Policeman near the Circle immediately swinging into action and helping him cross over to the other side safely.
As I climbed the second floor of the Court building, I saw this man struggling to climb the two floor stairs with his walking stick. Any time he may slip down and risk his life. He may have to do this a number of times while attending to the Court cases.
Hence, I request the Honourable Court authorities to provide Lifts to the floors where clients like women, sick and old people and disabled are benefited by this kind gesture and ensure safety and security of the public who visit the Court to attend to their cases.
