Lions Club Mysore North Trust to get training campus

Mysuru: A new training campus for Lions Club Mysore North Trust will be constructed using CSR funds, said MLA and Trust Founder Tanveer Sait. He was speaking during the meeting of the Trust held at the Centre for Excellence Skill Training, near Vikrant Tyres on KRS Road in city recently.

Earlier, Club Secretary Ln. Deviprasad, who presented information pertaining to the social services conducted by the Trust also gave details of Skill Development training conducted by the Trust two years ago but was stopped abruptly following change in Government policies in the Centre and State.

Sait explained about how to put the Trust property to use and suggested to start skill training in first-aid to the employees of various industries in collaboration with the Labour Department. He said that a new training campus, which can accommodate over 100 trainees will be constructed using CSR funds to impart job- oriented courses as per Government guidelines. Ln. Ismail, Ln. Basavegowda, Club President C. Narayanagowda, Ln. Tavde, Club Secretary Ln. Deviprasad and Ln. Asha were present.
