Mysore/Mysuru: The first ever Lions Virtual Club in District 317G — Lions Club of Mysore Crown — which was Chartered on June 25, 2025, was inaugurated in a Virtual Meeting recently.
Lions Virtual Club is an online platform that allows members to connect, plan and execute service projects remotely. These Virtual Clubs use digital channels to coordinate in-person service efforts, making it easier for people to join and participate in Lions Clubs International.
Lions Club of Mysore Crown comprises members from India, Dubai, Ireland, United Kingdom and United States of America. The Club has been sponsored by Lions Club of Mysore Classic.
Ln. Imad Ur Rahim (Mysuru) was installed as the Charter President, Ln. Saniha Mahaveer (Ireland) as Secretary and Ln. S. Mandara (Mysuru) as Treasurer.
The other office-bearers include Ln. M.A. Chidananda (Bengaluru) – Club Administrator; Ln. Kiranswamy (USA) – First Vice-President; Ln. Subramanya Nagalapur (USA) – Second Vice-President; Ln. C.P. Divya (USA) – Service Chairperson; Ln. Abhimanyu Suryaji Domb (Ireland) – Marketing Chairperson; Ln. Supreeth Murgesh (USA) – Membership Chairperson and Ln. Dr. C.K. Sanjana (Mysuru), Ln. Seema Mysore (USA), Ln. Smitha Agadi (USA), Ln. Geetha Agadi (UK) and Ln. M. Prashanth (USA) – all Directors.
President Ln. Arun Mandal presided. Dist. Governor Ln. K.L. Rajashekara inaugurated the new Club. Dist. Governor 2024-25 Ln. N. Subramanya installed the new team. Ln. M. Shivakumar inducted new Charter Members.
