Lions Intl. Convention at Melbourne from June 20

Ln. N. Subramanya of Mysuru to be installed as District Governor on June 25

Mysore/Mysuru: The 106th Lions International Convention will be held between June 20     and 25 at Melbourne, Australia.

Ln. N. Subramanya, the District Governor-Elect of District 317G, will be installed as the District Governor during the Convention on June 25. He has left for Melbourne with his wife Vani Subramanya and a host of other Lions for this six-day event.

The Lions International Convention includes many events like Parade of Nations, Seminars, Banquets, Opening & Closing Plenary Sessions, Schooling for District Governor-Elects and their spouses, UN Flag Ceremony, Elections for International Third Vice-President, International Directors and Installation of District Governors for 2024-25.

Ln. N. Subramanya is one of the few Governors selected to address the Convention delegates on the topic ‘How to Attract New Members?’, according to a press release from Ln. Naveen Subramanya, District PRO, Lions District 317G.
