Loan facility for Minorities

The Karnataka Minority Development Corporation (KMDC) has invited online applications from eligible persons belonging to Minority communities such as Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Anglo Indian and Parsi, for availing loans and subsidies under various Government schemes for the year 2022-23.

Under the Direct Loan Scheme, the beneficiaries who wish to start their own business or any agriculture related business can avail loans from Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 20 lakh with 4 to 6 percent interest.  Loans can be availed by pledging documents of any land or building the beneficiaries own.  The price of the property they own should not be less than the loan amount. Under the Ganga Kalyana Scheme, to avail loan, the beneficiaries must own at least 1.2 hectare to 5 hectare farmland. A borewell worth Rs. 2.25 lakh will be sinked along with installation of pumpset and electricity free of cost for all the Small and Micro-farmers.

Applicants for all the above loan and subsidy schemes should be aged between 18 and 55 years and must have not obtained any benefits from the Government. Applicants must bank account must be linked to Aadhaar number and should be permanent residents   of Karnataka. Applications may be submitted by logging on to https://kmdconline.karnataka.gov.in/Portal/ before Nov. 15. A printout of the filled-in application, along with other relevant documents, must be submitted at the office of the District Manager, Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation, First Floor, Maulana Azad Bhavan, Subhashnagar,  Mysuru-Bengaluru Main Road. Vidyasiri Scholarship Scheme

Mysuru, Sept. 24 (SSM) – The Minorities Welfare Department has invited online applications from eligible minority community students (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, Buddhists and Parsis) for availing various benefits under Vidyasiri Scholarship Scheme for 2022-23.

Eligible students may submit their applications by logging on to https://sevasindhuservices.karnataka.gov.in/ before 5.30 pm on Oct. 20.
