Locked house burgled at Ramakrishnanagar

Burglars decamp with valuables worth Rs. 1.87 lakh

Mysuru – An incident of house burglars, breaking into a locked house on the first floor at Rangarao Colony in Ramakrishnanagar ‘G’ Block and making away with valuables including cash has been reported in city on Saturday.

The incident took place in the house of one S. Narayan, who on Apr. 3, had locked the house and had gone to Udupi along with his family. The incident came to light when the family returned to city a few days later.

The burglars, who entered the house by forcing the door open, ransacked the rooms, broke open the almirah and decamped with gold and silver articles, a Samsung mobile phone, Apple iPad, two cameras of Canon and Yashika companies, 20 grams silver pendant, two silver idols of Lord Krishna weighing 20 grams each, two silver vessels weighing a kilogram and 250 grams each, one silver kumkum container weighing 200 grams, four silver boxes weighing 500 grams each, silver anklets weighing 200 grams, gold ornament weighing four grams, six watches of various companies and Rs. 30,000 cash.

Kuvempunagar Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
