Sir,
This is to bring to the attention of CESC authorities overlooking the operations of Industrial Suburb, Visveshwaranagar, Mysuru- 570008.
There has been long shut down of power for the past one month. However, summer months were seen through with less power shut down. The main reason given by the “customer care” is that somewhere the overhead cable has got snapped. Unfortunately, this is a daily affair.
Apart from the shut down, due to a break down there has been long planned shut down throughout the week. This is causing a lot of hardship for the aged, sick and school going children. Housewives are unable to use electrical gadgets for daily routine work.
It is given to understand the preventive maintenance is poor and the load in the recent years has increased, which the CESC is unable to meet.
We trust the authorities would take corrective action to restore power supply regularly.
One wonders whether the recent hike in power tariff will any way help CESC as more loss is incurred due to low power supply and long shut downs. Hope the authorities concerned will help the tax-paying citizens.
