M.C. Vijayalakshmi (74), a retired Government High School Teacher and a resident of Siddarthanagar, passed away following a heart attack at her residence on Friday.
Her husband B.K. Raju, a retired official from the University of Mysore, had predeceased her on Feb. 11. After her husband’s death, Vijayamma had gone into depression.
She leaves behind one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday morning.
